Card Payment vs Manual Payment Protection

The protection available to you depends on how the order was paid.

For card payment orders, funds are held in the seller's wallet until you confirm receipt. This means MoxMarket can release funds back to you, as a refund, or to the seller, as a payout, depending on the outcome of a dispute. Our decision in these cases is final.

For manual payment orders, the money has already moved directly between you and the seller, and MoxMarket has no way to retrieve or reverse it. We can still mediate and take action on a seller's account, such as a warning, suspension, or ban, but we cannot force a refund. If you need financial recourse on a bank transfer order, contact your bank directly.

If buyer protection is a priority for a given purchase, card payment offers a stronger safety net.
